Priyum is a founding member of Coven Code, India’s first all-female women’s DJ collective that aspires to build a creative culture around sound in a safe and inclusive environment. She learnt to DJ with the help of the women in the collective and friendly clubs in the city who let her mess around with the console (which she continues to do). As a part of the collective Priyum continues to advocate for safety and inclusivity in the music/night-life community, which involves producing events and gigs that incorporate safety toolkits and other mechanisms.
