Notable Life Awards Goes Digital, Celebrates Canadian Diversity with 3x Nominations for Afros in tha City and more!

November 30, 2023 in Award Shows, Entertainment, Business

Notable Life, a trailblazer in career development media for young Canadian professionals, announced the digital relaunch of its esteemed Notable Awards. In its ninth edition, the awards embrace a fully online format, broadening its reach across Canada and spotlighting exceptional talents in various fields. This digital transition underscores Notable Life's commitment to inclusivity and diversity, recognizing Canadians who make significant contributions to their communities and society.

This year, Afros in tha City has been nominated for the 2023 Notable Awards - Notable Media Platform. AitC Global Head, CEO and Co-Founder Kimberley Dooshima Jev of the platform has also been nominated for the Notable Trailblazer and Notable Woman award.

This year also introduces the REV Award, a notable addition underlining sustainable business practices. Presented by the City of Toronto through its Live Green Toronto program, the REV Award celebrates Toronto-based businesses taking the lead on climate action with a $10,000 grant.  Entrepreneurs who have taken tangible steps to reduce their carbon footprint, divert waste from landfills, enhance energy efficiency, conserve water, engage in environmental remediation, and inspire their employees, suppliers, or the surrounding community to go green are encouraged to apply.

With over 30 categories, the Notable Awards recognizes nominees across Canada selected by a distinguished Notable Committee and public vote. Each nominee's story, experience, and project are meticulously reviewed and weighted with their final vote count. The top finalists in each category will receive a digital award and recognition for their contributions to their industry and community.

This year's awards are elevated by the involvement of influential figures such as Melissa Leong, a renowned podcast host and financial expert featured on CTV's The Social, and Craig Pike, the successful owner of Craig’s Cookies. Past awardees include notable personalities like fashion stylist and TV personality Erica Wark.
