DJane Magazine Expands Global Presence with Canadian Launch and Strategic Partnership with AitC Initiative

December 04, 2023 in Music

"Partnering with DJane Magazine is an authentic and natural fit for us. We share a common goal of promoting diversity and creating opportunities for women in the electronic music world. This collaboration will undoubtedly amplify the voices of female DJs and producers in Canada and beyond." - Kimberley Dooshima Jev //DJ DOOSHIMA // THEYTHEM

Today marks a significant milestone for the global electronic music community as DJane Magazine, the premier publication celebrating the achievements of female DJs and electronic music artists, officially launches in Canada. The expansion is accompanied by an exclusive partnership with SheDJsCanada, a pioneering organization founded in 2019 by the (Notable Life Awards 2023) Notable Media Platform nominee Afros in tha City together with fellow DJs and producers Chelsea Keith and Kimberley Dooshima Jev.

DJane Magazine
has been a beacon of inspiration for female DJs and electronic music enthusiasts worldwide, spotlighting talent, sharing industry insights, and fostering a sense of community. The magazine's decision to establish a presence in Canada reflects the vibrant and growing electronic music scene in the country.

The strategic partnership with SheDJsCanada, co-founded by Kimberley Jev and Chelsea Keith, aligns seamlessly with DJane Magazine's mission to empower and elevate female talent in the electronic music industry. SheDJsCanada has been at the forefront of championing women in the DJ and music production space, organizing events, workshops, and providing a platform for female artists to showcase their skills.

"We are thrilled to bring DJane Magazine to Canada and embark on this exciting journey with SheDJsCanada," said a senior representative at DJane Magazine. "Canada has a rich and diverse electronic music scene, and we are eager to shine a spotlight on the incredible female talent that contributes to its vibrancy. Our partnership with SheDJsCanada reflects our commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment in the industry."

Kimberley Dooshima Jev, who was recently promoted to Head of Partnerships for the organization, expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration: "Partnering with DJane Magazine is an authentic and natural fit for us. We share a common goal of promoting diversity and creating opportunities for women in the electronic music world. This collaboration will undoubtedly amplify the voices of female DJs and producers in Canada and beyond."

Chelsea Keith, CEO of SheDJsCanada, added, "As advocates for authentic equality in the music industry, joining forces with DJane Magazine allows us to further amplify our message and provide even more support to female talent. We look forward to the incredible stories and insights that will emerge from this collaboration."

The Canadian launch of DJane Magazine and the partnership with SheDJsCanada symbolize a new era of inclusivity and recognition for female DJs in the country. The magazine will continue to celebrate the accomplishments of women in electronic music, inspire the next generation of talent, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the global music landscape.
